Refund policy

Returns and Refunds

Eggsultant Quail Co does not accept returns or refunds for change of mind, incorrect choice, or if you simply decide you no longer want the eggs. As fertile quail eggs are a perishable and time-sensitive product, all sales are final.

Damaged Eggs

Fertile quail eggs are fragile and perishable goods. Eggsultant Quail Co takes great care in packing all orders to ensure they are adequately protected for transit. However, once your order is lodged with Australia Post, we are no longer able to control how the parcel is handled during delivery.

Eggsultant Quail Co does not accept liability for eggs damaged, scrambled, or otherwise compromised during delivery due to mishandling by Australia Post or any other courier service.

If your eggs arrive with visible damage to the packaging or eggs, or if candling reveals that the eggs appear scrambled or compromised:

  1. Do not discard the packaging or the eggs — retain all original packaging and the eggs themselves as evidence.

  2. Present the damaged item and the packaging at your local Australia Post Office so that a damage report can be completed. Only the person to whom the item is addressed can present the item.
  3. Lodge a compensation claim with Australia Post through their compensation program. Information on how to apply is available at: https://auspost.com.au/personal/receiving/parcel-deliveries/compensation#how-to-apply

Hatch Rate

Eggsultant Quail Co cannot and does not guarantee a 100% hatch rate. The successful hatching of fertile eggs depends on numerous factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

  • Incubation temperature and humidity;

  • Turning frequency and technique;

  • Egg handling after delivery;

  • The age and fertility of the eggs at the time of posting.

Based on our on-site observations, we have found that approximately 60–70% of all eggs hatch. This is provided as a guide only and does not constitute a guarantee.

No refund or replacement will be provided for eggs that fail to hatch, as hatch rates are inherently variable and beyond our control.
